Loading images from the cache is now more logical and highly customizable with PSPDFCacheOptions. The memory cache is now also smarter and better limits itself to a fixed number of pixels (~50MB of modern devices in the default setting). The disk cache now limits itself to 500MB (this is customizable) and cleans up the least recently used files. Annotations are now cached, they are no longer an “afterthought” and will show up in the thumbnails and even the scrobble bar.
